New shareholder structure at Deutsche Medien-Manufaktur - Constructive talks between Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster and RTL Deutschland

Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster is currently in good and constructive talks about the takeover of RTL Deutschland's 50% share in Deutsche Medien-Manufaktur (DMM). Both sides are very confident that the talks can be concluded successfully. Until then, neither side will comment on the status of the ongoing talks or on contract details.

“We are still interested in taking over the 50 % share of DMM from RTL-Deutschland,” emphasise Malte Schwerdtfeger and Dr Ludger Schulze Pals, Managing Directors of Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster. “Deutsche Medien-Manufaktur is a profitable company with a promising portfolio. The flagships LANDLUST, LIVING AT HOME and FLOW in particular stand for this. The country magazine LANDLUST, developed by Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster and first published in 2005, has established a new segment in the magazine market and has a circulation of over 800,000 copies sold.”

The Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster group of companies offers more than 50 specialist and consumer media as well as services along the food value chain. The range extends from agricultural production, processing and food retailing to the area of country life. “Against this background, Deutsche Medien-Manufaktur continues to fit perfectly into our portfolio. It is not without reason that our company claim is: Passion for agriculture, food and country life,” say Schwerdtfeger and Schulze Pals.
