Münster, 1 December 2025 – On 15 and 16 May 2026, a completely new event highlight will celebrate its premiere in Münster: the Fields & Beats Festival by Wochenblatt. The joint event organised by the Messe und Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland and the Wochenblatt newspaper from Landwirtschaftsverlag combines music, entertainment and agriculture in a completely new stage and event format.

For two days, the grounds of the MCC Halle Münsterland will be transformed into a festival that brings together urban and rural culture from the Münsterland region. Visitors can expect a diverse festival programme on three fields, featuring rousing live acts and DJs – including Ski Aggu, Alle Farben, Harris & Ford and others – combined with fairground rides, shooting galleries and food stalls, which create an authentic fairground atmosphere on the ‘Fun Field’.

EA particular highlight is the ‘Future Field’ – a comprehensive networking area where companies from the agricultural sector can showcase themselves. This creates a platform for networking, career development and exchange in a relaxed atmosphere – a meeting place for the next generation of agriculture, involving influencers from the industry.

‘With Fields & Beats, we are creating a next-level festival that aims to inspire young people between the ages of 18 and 35 and bring together festival-goers from urban and rural areas,’ says Wolfgang Gamigliano, publisher of the Wochenblatt für Landwirtschaft und Landleben (Weekly Journal for Agriculture and Rural Life). ‘The aim is to work with MCC Halle Münsterland to provide a place where young people from rural areas, agricultural students and anyone who fancies a good party can celebrate in a relaxed and exuberant atmosphere, thereby building bridges between urban and rural areas.’

Dr Maria Näther, Managing Director of Messe und Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland, emphasises: 'We are delighted to be working with Landwirtschaftsverlag to create a modern festival experience – a setting that takes the vibe of rural youth parties to a whole new level with first-class live acts and DJs. We are bringing the people of the region together, showcasing their strength, their zest for life and their unique spirit. Münster is the perfect location for a festival that authentically connects the city and the countryside.'
