Gold for ‘Einfach mal Wild’

A great success for the Wochenblatt book ‘Einfach mal Wild’: On Wednesday evening (27 November), it was awarded the gold medal in the ‘Game’ category at the German Cookbook Awards. Author Martin Kintrup and photographer Merle Weidemann were on hand in Hamburg to accept the award.

The competition's expert jury's judgement included: ‘There's not a lot of chi-chi here, but honest, quick and modern game dishes that are particularly suitable for people who may not have dared to try game before.’

Every year, a jury of 55 culinary experts honours the best cookbooks of the year in 25 categories with the German Cookbook Award. The predecessor volume ‘Richtig Wild!’ was already successful at the award. The book won silver in 2021.

The LV.Buch and Wochenblatt teams, together with Martin Kintrup and Merle Weidemann, are delighted with the award.
