The money will go entirely to the people affected by the war in Ukraine. Initial aid measures have been agreed and implemented with Caritas in Poland, the Lublin Chamber of Agriculture in eastern Poland near the Ukrainian border, and the rural women and farmers there. “For example, we support a sanatorium for disabled children in Krasnobród in the south-east of the Lublin voivodeship, which has taken in children with impairments from Ukraine, with food, medicines and other equipment for everyday life,” Karol Bujoczek, editor-in-chief of top agrar Polska, explains the activities. Further measures and projects in Poland and directly in Ukraine are in preparation.
“Russia is repeatedly attacking civilian facilities in Ukraine as well. With each passing day, the plight of citizens seeking protection is growing. We invite our readers, customers and partners to help. Every euro counts,” Dr Ludger Schulze Pals and Malte Schwerdtfeger, Managing Directors of Landwirtschaftsverlag, ask for further donations.
