New Board of Trustees of the Landwirtschaftsverlag Foundation

Petra Bentkämper, Susanne Schulze Bockeloh and Hubertus Beringmeier on the Supervisory Board of the Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster Foundation

The Board of Trustees of the Landwirtschaftsverlag Foundation has three new members: Petra Bentkämper, President of the German Rural Women's Association (Deutscher Landfrauenverband), Susanne Schulze Bockeloh, Chair of the new “Women Entrepreneurs” expert committee at the German Farmers' Association (Deutscher Bauernverband) and Hubertus Beringmeier, President of the Westfälisch-Lippischer Landwirtschaftsverband (WLV) three new members. The three important representatives of German agriculture were elected unanimously in the regular election. They replaced the former NRW Minister of Agriculture Eckhard Uhlenberg, the former Agravis Chairman of the Board Dr. Clemens Große Frie and the long-standing CDU Member of the Bundestag and former WLV President Johannes Röring, whose terms of office have expired in accordance with the statutes.

In addition, the Board of Trustees includes Hermann Bimberg (Chairman and long-time Managing Director of Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster), Michael Radau (Deputy Chairman, HDE Vice President and Chairman of the Board of SuperBioMarkt AG), Joachim Rukwied (DBV President), Hubertus Paetow (DLG President) and IT entrepreneur Katharina Borchert, who lives in the USA.

“We are looking forward to having two accomplished experts on the Board of Trustees who will bring new impulses and ideas to the Foundation's work,” Hermann Bimberg welcomes the three new members. “At the same time, the Board of Trustees and the Foundation's Executive Board would like to express their sincere thanks to Eckhard Uhlenberg, Dr. Clemens Große Frie and Johannes Röring for their many years of commitment and for their enriching support of our Foundation's work.”

There will also be new members on the Foundation's Board of Directors. The long-time managing director of Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster, Werner Gehring, is leaving after his retirement. He will be replaced by Malte Schwerdtfeger, also Managing Director of Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster. Together with Dr. Ludger Schulze Pals and Marc Schürmann, he will steer the Foundation's work in future.
