Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster and its digital subsidiary LV digital have once again received top ratings in the annual employer ranking by the media service Kress. Landwirtschaftsverlag ranks 9th among specialist media with a score of 4.07. LV digital even reached 2nd place among digital companies with an outstanding score of 4.62. Kress has been compiling the ranking since 2019 based on data from the employer rating platform Kununu.
Employees can rate their company on Kununu with up to 5 stars. A score of 4 and above translates to a grade of “good” or better in school grades. Kress evaluated 140 companies in the media industry. On average, they achieved a score of 3.52.
“The good rating is no coincidence. For example, we attach great importance to well-equipped workplaces, the compatibility of work and family life, a working atmosphere based on respect, appreciation and equality, individual further training and development opportunities, and attractive work content with a high degree of freedom,” describe Malte Schwerdtfeger and Dr. Ludger Schulze Pals, the two Managing Directors of Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster, regarding the media company's diverse activities. “In rough times like these, when media companies are facing economic headwinds, this cannot always be taken for granted, especially when the company has to be restructured and repositioned at the same time to remain future-proof.”
A special corporate culture also distinguishes LV digital. “A healthy work-life balance, good cooperation, the strategic involvement of colleagues, and a great willingness to change are important to us as a team. This increases the motivation and performance of everyone,” Marco Laukötter and Dr. Matthias Weddeling, the two Managing Directors of LV digital, are convinced.
Kununu has once again awarded Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster and its subsidiary LV digital the “Top Company 2026” seal – as in the past four years. Companies that achieve a total score of at least 3.8 in the “Employer Attractiveness” criterion are allowed to use the seal.
