On November 21, the best cookbooks of the year were honored in Hamburg. A jury of 43 culinary experts selected the winners from around 100 nominated books.
The book 'Chocolate' by LV.Buch from Landwirtschaftsverlag won second place in the 'Dessert' category.
This was the jury's verdict:
'Makes you want to get started and bake straight away.'
'Overall, a very good standard work for experts that will also inspire beginners.'
'The various soufflé preparations in particular are so fantastic that I can hardly decide which one to try first.'
'A very good book where you can also learn something and not just bluntly bake predetermined recipes.'
